About Amy
Amy LeFevre Interiors specializes in custom window treatments and interior design for both commercial and residential applications. Amy’s love of color, space planning, organization and all things beautiful are why she is passionate about Interior Design. Amy is driven to create stylish and functional spaces that reflects her client's taste and fits their budget.
Amy has worked as an Interior Designer for 25 years since graduating from Cazenovia College with a degree in Interior Design. The majority of her career has been spent working for local office furniture dealerships, designing commercial spaces for: corporate, healthcare and higher education.
Mentored by 50 year veteran of the window treatment industry, Vic Piperata (of Vic’s Window Designs), Amy took over Vic’s business accounts the year of his retirement in 2014. Vic still contributes and assists on installations for Amy throughout the area.
How We Work
Custom Window Treatments, Blinds & Shades
The process of quoting and purchasing window treatments is treated completely separate from our Interior Design Service. First, know that no project is too small…whether you are looking for a single blind, or window treatments for an entire room, home or office building, we are happy to help you. We believe it is important to be able to see the actual color samples in the space where they will be installed, so we offer a “shop-at-home” service.
We will bring our samples to your home or business, discuss the various treatment options with you and help you select the type of product that will best meet your needs. Our interior designers can also advise on color selection if you desire. Additionally, we will take all the required window measurements and provide professional installation when you purchase our product.
For customers within a 20 mile radius, our “shop-at-home” service for (window treatments) is FREE of charge for the first 2 meetings, per project (most sales are completed within 1-2 meetings). We are happy to travel to customers outside of this distance, and for those situations a small consultation fee may be applied, with option to credit the fee when the purchase is made. If applicable, the low consultation fee will be quoted prior to the appointment being made.
Rates
Every project is unique and the amount of work involved to execute the finished product always varies. To assist you we offer pricing options:
1. Hourly Design Rate – this is ideal for small jobs, such as help selecting a paint finish, re-designing 1-2 rooms or our “shop-with-designer” experience. Once we know the project details, we can generally estimate how many hours will be required.
2. Per Project Quote – for larger scale projects and contract work, we would have a meeting to establish the scope of work then present a package price based on the amount and type of service required along with estimated time line.
